How is the C5 ESP Pro different from the C3 ESP Pro?
The C5 ESP Pro uses a larger 42mm burr versus the C3 ESP Pro's 38mm, giving a longer grinding path and around 5% more consistency. Its adjustment dial is also finer, moving in 15 micron steps with 50 clicks per rotation, compared to 23.3 microns and 30 clicks on the C3.
Can the C5 ESP Pro grind fine enough for espresso?
Yes. The 15 micron dial gives precise enough control for genuine espresso, and independent testing rates its espresso performance 4/5. Grinding time for a normal espresso dose runs a little over a minute, which is typical for a manual grinder at this burr size.
Does the folding crank actually fold flat?
Yes. Timemore's patented crank sits completely flush against the body when folded, using a ball-bearing metal handle and a rubber stop rather than the bulkier clip systems used by some competing grinders.

Is it good for pour-over as well as espresso?
