Guatemala Antigua by Coffee Beautiful

Guatemala has been cultivating coffee since the 1850s and is now one of the foremost coffee producers in Central America. Coffees from Guatemala are amazing and this single origin from Antigua is one of our favourites here at Coffee Beautiful.

Our Guatemalan coffee beans travel to us all the way from the plantations in the volcanic valleys surrounding Antigua. The growing coffee is surrounded by three volcanoes: Agua, Fuego and Acatenango. The plantations have rich volcanic soil, sunny weather, low humidity, cool nights and excellent growing conditions at an altitude of 1650 metres making Antigua the perfect location to cultivate beautiful coffee.

The separate varieties are Caturra, Bourbon and also Typica.

This coffee is chocolatey and sweet with a beautiful body. There are notes of blackberries punctuated with floral musings in the aroma. Simply delicious.
