A rotary knocker keeps retention near zero
A twist of the catch cup activates the same Fines Knocker mechanism as the Sculptor range, clearing stray grounds from the chute. Independent testing measured retention at just 0.1–0.2g, among the best in its class — every gram of dosed coffee reliably makes it into the cup.

Yes. The 40mm conical burrs handle espresso well, especially on medium to dark roasts, producing a full-bodied shot with good crema. Very light, delicate filter roasts are the one area where a dedicated flat-burr grinder like the Sculptor range will show more clarity.
